Denise Barker, NY Manager for Shaw-Ross International Importer’s Lineage Fine Wine Division, will showcase a series of wines and South Asian art specialist Josheen Oberoi, will give a personalized walk through of the current exhibition at DAG Modern - Memory and Identity: Indian Artists Abroad

The evening promises exceptional wine, beautiful and thought-provoking art with a side of fabulous conversations.

Josheen Oberoi, heads the Art Advisory division at DAG Modern’s New York location. She previously worked at Saffronart, New York as a Specialist in South Asian Art and Bodhi Art, New York as a gallerist and Associate Curator. She has a masters in medieval Indian history from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and a masters in South Asian art history from Florida State University.

Denise is a Sommelier, WSET Certified Advanced Level 3 and WSET Sake certified. She represents several premium brands from around the world, including Chateaua d’Esclans (Whispering Angel), Masut Pinot Noir, Marques de Riscal Rioja and Champagne de Bligny. She has a degree from Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts and owns a consulting company, Inside the Vine, that focuses on wine entertaining and education.
