SAWCC Presents: Homeland | Collage Workshop with Flor Khan

Join SAWCC on December 5 for a sip & collage making workshop exploring the concept of homeland, led by novelist, poet, and collage artist Flor Khan. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, this in-person event at the Asian American Writers’ Workshop is for anyone looking to express themselves artistically. Feel free to bring images or photographs that reflect your cultural background or heritage to create a collage that tells the story of what home means to you. Collage making materials and stationary, as well as food and drinks, will be provided.

RSVP here to join us for a creative session full of cutting, pasting, and storytelling through collage!

This is a ticketed event with limited capacity.

About the artist:
Flor Khan is a novelist, poet, and collage artist whose work explores identity and the (re)turn to home as a space of liberation and growth. Drawing from her experiences in third-culture spaces shaped by diaspora and global movement, she redefines the meaning of home, home-making, and belonging. Through travel, storytelling, and journalism, Flor gathers diverse voices and stories, blending them into her art to celebrate connection, resilience, and transformation.
