Artists Shreya Mehta and Barkha Patel will create a dialogue between their artistic disciplines with a 48-minute live paint, sand art, and dance performance. The performance will invite the audiences to peek into the artists’ process of creation. With masks on, they will begin with the chanting of the eternal sound Aum, followed by a short meditation, and then move into a live paint/performance of the five elements. The artists will be available for a Q&A after the performance.
Join Mehta and Patel on May 8, noon to 1 pm, at the Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning (JCAL).

The gallery capacity will be capped at 10 visitors.
