Brown Eyed Girls

Brown Eyed Girls is SAWCC’s writing workshop, which meets regularly throughout the year. BEG was created in spring 2002, in response to the needs of the SAWCC’s literary membership for a structured space within which to workshop pieces and receive critical feedback.  Fiction and nonfiction writers of all experience levels are welcome (we currently do not workshop poetry).

The only eligibility requirements for the workshop are that the participant be a South Asian woman and that she subscribe to the SAWCC listserv. If you are interested in joining and for more information on how to apply, please email: beg [at] sawcc [dot] org
